Courtroom Observation

Today, I went to the courthouse to observe with Yongxin. We listened to approximately five cases, including drug-related and cases involving infringement of freedom. As we continued, the judge noticed us, thinking we might be in the wrong courtroom. He reminded us, but we explained that we were there to observe. The judge and prosecutor were enthusiastic, informing us that there will be cases involving lay judges next month and welcoming us to attend and observe.

Today Yongxin and I went to the court to observe trials. We listened to about five cases. There were drug cases, unlawful restraint cases. Towards the end, the judge noticed us. He thought we walked into the wrong courtroom. Then he reminded us. But we told him we were there to observe. The judge and prosecutor were very friendly. They introduced that there would be lay judge cases next month and welcomed us to also come observe.
