Grandma's Declining Memory and Move Back to Taichung

My grandma hasn't been doing well these past two years. She's started showing signs of dementia, often unable to recognize family members. Yesterday, when I was riding my motorcycle back home to Zhonghe with Yingxin, she was sitting by the stairs on the ground floor, insisting on going back to Taichung. She didn't recognize either me or Yingxin. After a long struggle, my aunt from Taichung came to pick her up. I hope being back there will improve her mental state.

My grandmother's condition has deteriorated over the last two years. She has started exhibiting signs of dementia and often fails to recognize family members. Yesterday when I rode my scooter to take Yongxin back to our family home in Zhonghe, my grandmother was sitting at the bottom of the stairs yelling that she wanted to go back to Taichung. She did not recognize me or Yongxin. After a great deal of effort, my aunt from Taichung drove over to pick my grandmother up and take her home. I hope my grandmother's mental state improves once she is back in the familiar environment of Taichung.
